GL Live V - Manchester Review
Sept 2009
Da T.R.U.T.H came to Manchester on Thursday August 20th
and it was amazing night of energy, passion and testimony.

The
compere for the evening, DJ Mello, was on form with T-shirts and CD giveaways,
engaging with the audience as they danced and sang to win them.
Next came some great performances from UK artists such as local
girl Hannah Linton and E Tizz (London) who kicked the night off
in big style.
Mark J smashed it with his
infectious personality and honest testimony and was
definitely my favourite act of the night, says Tim Owen (The Message).
Sean Simmonds was next, again with some serious passion in his vocals and performance,
and with an amazing UK band that fitted so well. From a relatively unknown
artist in the U.S. it was fresh
pleasant performance.
Finally, Da T.R.U.T.H came on a little later than planned, but was worth waiting
for. He had to work hard with the crowd
at first, but within a few minutes he had everyone engaged and proceeded to
take us on a journey of intense and passionate worship of the King of Kings. It
definitely felt like a full-on worship experience rather than Da
T.R.U.T.H
playing through a catalogue of his many tracks. It was my first time seeing Da
T.R.U.T.H live and he is definitely one of the most energetic and infectious
performers I have seen and not to be missed.
Favourite song - Price Tag by Da Truth feat Trip Lee (BIG PICTURE ALBUM).
All in all, a good showcase of national and international talent by
GL Live in
a great venue (Victory Outreach, Manchester).
I would like to say thank you to 1nC Gospel Music Promotions for hosting
and organising the event in Manchester.
